What does it mean to subscribe to The Frosted Brew?

By subscribing to The Frosted Brew all new content that is published will be delivered either to your email inbox or your RSS reader. If you are unfamiliar with RSS and would like to learn more, keep reading. Otherwise, please scroll down the section titled “How Do I Subscribe?”.

Does it cost any money to subscribe?

Subscribing to The Frosted Brew is absolutely free. In fact, subscribers often receive “special gifts” that are otherwise unavailable to regular visitors to The Frosted Brew. If you subscribe today you will become eligible for these special gifts as they become available.

What is this RSS jazz you keep talking about?

RSS is a new and emerging technology that is going to help you keep your inbox clean. What is does is it gathers updates from all the blogs and websites that you like to read and delivers them to a central location, like a virtual library.

One of the most popular RSS readers is Google Reader. Click here to visit the Google Reader page and sign-up. In fact, if you sign-up for Google Reader and email me with the subject line of “I gots the reader!” then I will send you a feed that you can subscribe to which will give you access to all the feeds that I use to stay up to date in the home beer brewing world.

I’m still not so sure about this RSS thing. Can I subscribe via email?

Will you sell my email address or other information?

I value the respect and trust that you have in me too much to stoop to such low levels. By providing me with your information it is like you are inviting me into your virtual home. I will not disrespect you by selling your email address or other information to those dang gone annoying marketers.
